…and make room for Whoopie Pies! They say these yummy bites originated in Boston back in the 1920’s but Pennsylvanians disagree. I really don’t care where they came from, I’m just happy to see them making a comeback.

They have the texture of cake with a whipped frosting filling.  The bakery at my local market has been cranking these things out and I even saw a red velvet whoopie pie-making kit at William Sonoma recently. YUM.
